Filtration and water treatment

HYDROCONCEPT EXPERTISE – UV TECHNOLOGY

The pool water is treated in 3 stages: Filtration – UV disinfection – Residual treatment.

Our UV reactors use low pressure lamps emitting at the monochromatic wavelength of 253,7 nm, the most effective for the destruction of microorganisms and chloramines. Ultraviolet dechloraminators have become essential in existing and future swimming pools:

  • Cost control: new water supply and reduced chlorine consumption,
  • 80% reduction in the rate of chloramines in the water,
  • 50% reduction in the rate of nitrogen trichlorides in the air,
  • More comfort for bathers,
  • Ecological.

A residual treatment at low doses (chlorine, bromine, active oxygen, etc.) will complete the action of UV rays by making the water disinfectant as required by the regulations in force.

OZONE, PERFECTION: LESS CHLORINE IN THE POOL THAN IN DRINKING WATER

The ozone generator transforms the oxygen molecules in the air into ozone and injects them into the water, where they will have an oxidizing power on micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses and other coliforms. It is a very powerful disinfectant with no side effects: it does not leave traces or by-products in the water, which remains clear and without the typical smell of chloramines. It reduces the use of residual chemicals and improves filtration and coagulation capacities. Ozone is an oxidant and a disinfectant 10 times more powerful than chlorine. Some chlorine-resistant pathogens cannot grow in ozone-treated water.
